The new team is coming back from a disappointing end to last season when the Mustang’s won all but one game, losend the team’s season and a state championship run.
The team is currently leading the league in strike-outs.
The key area the Mustangs need to work on is defense to perfect the game.
Sophomore Stevie Roberson said the team is doing good and working together.
The team now is running a 6-2 record after Tuesday’s 4-3 win against Cabrillo College.
Coming up next is the team’s third game against Cabrillo College on Sat., Feb 23.
