The Collegian, the school newspaper, is a puzzle.
Everyone brings their ideas, heart and passion to the class to put a newspaper together every week.
The first time being in the class was weird. I had never been in a writing class before. It was overwhelming, but good.
Everybody in the classroom wants to help. The other students help out.
The editors tell writers what to do.
The instructor, Tara Cuslidge-Staiano, has a lot of skill. She brings a lot of passion to the class to motivate us to do stories.
We pitch stories on Tuesday. The following Thursday, we turn in the paper. The next Tuesday, we go over it. That’s a basic week at The Collegian.
Students learn a lot going through the course.
I recommend the class to everybody.
