Identification cards can be purchased for $10 in the bookstore.

The Associated Student Body Government (ASBG) is currently holding a sale on identification cards. Students can save 25-percent, for a total of $7.50 per card, if they purchase by Aug. 30.

After purchasing the card, students go to the ASBG office in Shima 101F, right next to the elevator on the first floor of the Shima Building.

TUTORING

Few students utilize this free service, located in four places on campus. The main center is the Content Tutoring Center located on the first floor of the Goleman Library. In this center you can get tutoring in a variety of courses from languages to computer science.

The second tutoring center is the Math Science Learning Center currently located in Shima 217. This is where students can get help with any math or science course offered.

The third center is the Reading Writing Lab located in Holt 201, where students can get help with English course work, or any class that requires any form of essay writing.

The final center is the Zone, located in Budd 205. This center focuses on helping student athletes, but is open to all students.

These centers are here free of charge to students enrolled in current semester classes.

GETTING INVOLVED

For those interested in getting involved in campus life and activities, visit the Student Activities office in Shima 101C.

Here you will find a list of clubs on campus, information about student government and campus committees.

If you have an interest in a special subject there is a club or organization on campus for that subject.

STUDENT SERVICES

When enrolling at Delta College you probably visited the DeRicco Student Services Building to take an assessment, meet with a counselor or even visit the financial aid office.

The second floor has the college’s large book collection and computers available for use by students. At the reserve counter students can check out textbooks to use in the library for a one-hour period.
