Tim Tebow was living the superstar life from 2006-11.

From winning National titles as the starting quarterback for the University Of Florida to leading the Denver Broncos to miraculous playoff stints, Tebow has led any team he played for to winning.

This led to media attention and more recognition from people around the world that went crazy for “Tebow Mania.”

But today, everyone’s wondering just what exactly is going on with Tebow now.

In 2007, Tebow took over the starting quarterback gig for Florida University and his story began.

He led the Gators to a National Championship as a sophomore by beating the Ohio State Buckeyes and won the Heisman Trophy.

His junior year, he charged the Gators to another National Championship by topping the then No.1 ranked Oklahoma Sooners.

The attention for Tebow was coming along naturally, as sportswriters around the world were wondering how he would fair in the NFL.

A lot of sports experts has labeled Tebow as an average quarterback who has an absurd throwing motion and only wins because of the players surrounding him.

In the 2010 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos traded up spots to draft Tebow and take a chance with him. Tebow’s arrival in Denver brought along the media who were crazed about him, and started firing up rumors about him starting for the Broncos.

Tebow spent his rookie year learning from the bench but everyone got the idea that it was just a matter of time until he gets a chance to prove his worth in the NFL.

Week 5 of the 2011 season shined some light on Tebow’s career as he was brought in at halftime to spark up the offense, he nearly led a 16-point comeback against the San Diego Chargers.

That game marked the arrival of Tebow and “Tebow Mania” as he led the Broncos to the playoffs and a first round upset of the Pittsburgh Steelers with the touchdown in overtime. The Broncos were sent home by the New England Patriots the following week.

The following year the Broncos acquired Peyton Manning, arguably one of the best quarterbacks to ever play, which led to them trading Tebow to the New York Jets.

Tebow wasn’t named the starter in New York which angered him. He was released at the end of the year.

Many wondered if Tebow will ever get a chance to start for an NFL team again. He was eventually signed by the New England Patriots, but was cut before the season started.

A recent rally at Jacksonville of Tebow fans was meant to amass in the thousands in an attempt to convince the Jaguars to sign him ended up a bust with no more than a dozen fans actually showing.

So Tebow is still a free agent, waiting on a team to call for his services.

A lot of people are still hoping for part two of “Tebow Mania,” but right now all they can do is wait.
