College students utilized online deals

Saving money is something that many look for specially college students since tuition and the cost of supplies are increasing every year.

As online shopping has increased over the years because either people are too busy or too lazy to physically go to stores to buy what they need.

Amazon capitalized on this buy offering a lot product at a low price in most cases as well with offering a service known as Amazon prime to its customers to help them save money on their online purchases.

“I love shopping at Amazon because I get great deals as well fast delivery on all my college books,” said college student Luis Rodriguez.

Amazon prime is service that cost $99 per year or $10.99 per month. However they offer a 30 day free trial and for students they offer a free six month subscription.

“Such a good value, you’d be irresponsible not to be a member” said CEO Jeff Bezos.

Amazon prime started with just unlimited two-day shipping and over the years it has added more features that members might be interested in.

“I love that I get free shipping on all my purchases thanks to my Prime membership,” said Luz Mejia an Amazon shopper.

Prime now offers unlimited free same-day delivery in 11 metro areas including Stockton, Sacramento, San Francisco Bay area and Fresno.

Also Sunday delivery and one-hour delivery are options in the membership.

Prime provides the option to stream music as well to storing unlimited photos and using Prime Video.

“You’d be silly not to join,” said Bezos.

Although Amazon doesn’t reveal how many members it currently has it has notice a 51% increase over the last year.
