The Associated Students of Delta College (ASDC) held a Harvest Fest in Dolores Huerta Plaza on Nov. 21.

The fest included games such as hopscotch and potato sack races, a 25-percent discount at the bookstore and lastly Indian food for sale. Students received free food and beverages if they had their Mustang Pass.

“Food wise the event was a success but as far as the games they were not as successful due to the small crowd,” said ASDC President Tehreem Khan.

Although the crowd was small ASDC strived to gather the people that were present at the event and had them participate in the game, Khan said.

The following day ASDC partnered with the food pantry giving out food bags.

ASDC continues to put on events here on campus for our students. There are no upcoming events in December but Khan said she has high hopes for the Back in the Groove event scheduled for Jan. 23 in Upper Danner from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
