San Joaquin Delta College will dedicate the Elizabeth Humbarger Tolerance Garden, located behind the DeRicco building, tomorrow, April 14 at 10 a.m.
The garden is named for Elizabeth Humbarger, a former Delta College counselor who was known for her efforts in mentoring Stockton’s Japanese American students during and following World War II.
Delta is joining the Stockton chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League to host the dedication.
