Averaging a team leading with 19.1 points per game in the Big 8 Conference play, Alex Simmons secured his spot as Mustang of the Month.
In January, Delta upset Santa Rosa Junior College with Simmons leading with a score of 24 points. Fifteen of the points were from the three-point line.
