Delta’s football team lost against San Francisco City College at home on Oct. 15. The score came out to be 44-17.
“As far as the loss goes, I feel like we held up pretty well against them, especially them being a real powerhouse team in this league,” said freshman wide receiver Pulusi Ionatana. “We started off kind of slow in the first half, but I feel like our defense held around against them. Being a top school that they are, we just need to lock down on minor details and little things we can fix and we can for sure take them.”
The Mustangs will continue on with their schedule by playing an away game against Chabot College on Oct. 22 at 5 p.m.
