Now that Christmas is approaching, what Christmas movies do you prefer? Do you enjoy old black and white Christmas movies? Are you going to watch the usual movies that come on tv? Do you go to the movies to see the newest Christmas movies that’s coming out?

Here’s a list of Christmas movies that I recommend if you don’t have any movies that come to mind. I really enjoyed watching these movies over the years and it brings me so much joy and feels me with Christmas cheer.

  • Home Alone- This is a Christmas classic from the 90’s and is still played on tv. Growing up and watching this movie every year made it feel as if Christmas is going to be great. It’s about a kid having to spend Christmas alone and taking down the thieves and having his family come home on Christmas day.
  • How the Grinch stole Christmas- A small heart anti Christmas spirit gets his revenge by taking all the christmas gifts. Realizing what he had done was wrong and had a change of heart and returned everything back to Whoville. And this movie has been done three times.I prefer the original one and the 2000 remake. I really didn’t care for the third one.
  • Polar Express- A child who is starting to feel as Santa is no longer real ends up riding a magical train. He makes new friends as they had small obstacles that got in the way of getting to the north pole to meet Santa.
  • Die Hard (I consider this a Christmas movie) It’s not your average ordinary Christmas movie but it has to be on the list. Yes he’s celebrating Christmas with his family and also at a Christmas party with his wife and her co-workers. But he also is kicking butt and fighting terrorists as well to save people
  • Friday after next- Another movie others might not see as a christmas movie but I do. In the movie its two cousins coming up with ways to get back their rent money that Santa had stolen from them. They also raised money by having a christmas party by charging people at the door. They also got even with Santa and took back what was rightfully theirs.
  • Achristmas carol- It’s a classic movie that has been remade countless times over the years. Its about three ghosts who visited Ebenzer Scrooge from his past, presence and future. It’s telling him to change his ways before it’s too late that he will end up dead and all alone. He changes his ways and he’s now in the Christmas spirit by giving out gifts, being cheerful and spending time with family.
