Now that Delta College has started a new semester, new students have entered the mix, setting their sights on academic and career paths to bring them a bright future.

Even though some of the students are new, it doesn’t mean they don’t already have opinions on the college. Many students have nice, negative and mixed feelings about Delta so far.

“I think Delta College is a good college for students because not only do they start their college journey during high school with dual enrollment but after that, they can explore their interests, get college units, get a head start to their college career and then at Delta they have opportunities to have a flexible schedule because of the hybrid that you can do online, you can do everything in person and that helped me being flexible now that I can work and put time into school and so far I had a really good experience at Delta.”

“In my opinion yes you live near home I don’t have to go far from your family You are still given the classes as you are to a 4 year and it’s pretty much cheaper I think a good way to assist you financially as well as education wise to go to Delta college as your first pathway to be successful here in Stockton.”

“I would say so because you get a lot of opportunities since it’s a community thing you get like financial for 2 years and then you have decisions to make whether you want to be in your majors you have a lot of choices and options then most universities would.”

— Jade Brown

“I think Delta College is a good school for people who are graduating because what I heard from universities are pretty expensive not to mention some of the professors are there to work on their research so sometimes they are not there so I do think it is a good school not to mention that when it comes to general ed classes they’re more expensive at a university than a community college.”
