Joseph Gonzalez is assuming the role of acting associate vice president for the time being, according to board documents from the May 6 meeting.
Méndez has been in the role of associate vice president of CTE & Workforce Development since March 2024.
“Since this is a personnel matter, we cannot comment any further,” said Alex Breitler, Director of Marketing and Communications for Delta College. “Joe Gonzales will be serving in this position on an acting basis. Mr. Gonzales has served Delta College for many years.”
