Free pancakes bring crowds

At 7 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3 am estimated 100 people lined up to go in to IHOP on Hammer Lane to enjoy National Pancake Day, which is now in its tenth year.
Roberto Juarez , the manager of IHOP said wait time for people to get seated was 45 minutes.
Kecia Jordan, who had a party of four, said the group got there at 9:30 a.m. and their wait time was 15-20 minutes.
After 10 a.m. people where still waiting to be seated. The wait time was 25 minutes for those who were waiting to be seated.
On National Pancake Day people can enjoy a free short stack of pancakes. At the end the meal, when paying their check, customers were asked if they would like to make a small donation to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which is IHOP’s local charity. The event ran from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m.
