With times being hard for a lot of people, Delta had offered to take a load or two off your shoulders.

Loads of Hope is a program that partners with Delta College to provide laundry services for the students once a week.

Students are able to  wash a limit of two loads every Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Holt 1 parking lot.

“More students are taking advantage of these free on campus services,” said Michelle Cruz, Student Outreach Ambassador.

The program is part of Delta College’s ongoing efforts to meet student basic needs as part of their experience on campus. Basic needs are “essential resources required to thrive as a student,” according to the Basic Needs page on the Delta College website.

Other basic needs services include the Student Food Pantry, the health center, and crisis/behavior counseling services.
