Some people at this point are tired of the things that are going on in this world during President Donald J. Trump’s second term so far, such as high gas prices, higher inflation, and more.
Right now, for some people, it’s hard to think about the future of this economy since in the present time it isn’t looking too good for the people of this country, especially since this is led by an egotistical and narcissistic felon.
Is hope really a possibility at this point?
Some people are starting to not care about certain social issues due to many factors, including a lot of stress, information overload and numbing to the brink of exhaustion.
But with how many negative effects this has, a lot of people still believe that there’s hope that is still alive in some people.
“I feel like it’s always good to have hope in the world, no matter what kind of crisis it is, and to make it better, we just have to learn from our mistakes. I mean, that’s what history class is kinda for, to learn from mistakes and not to make the mistakes again, even though they’re still being made,” said Delta student Edith Her.
Right now, it seems to be very hopeless, right now, but it’s important to stay strong in times like this because if nobody has hope, then all the things that we strive for mean nothing.
But I feel like having a little bit of hope can still make a difference in this country, without truly losing sight of certain things that are going on in your life, no matter how bad they are at this moment.
Giving up isn’t really an option, but knowing that you still have a bit of faith could go a long way in this chaos.
Currently, since the Iran war is still going on, it is putting a huge target on America’s back. It feels like we’re running out of time in America for change under this administration.
As of right now, the world between the U.S. and Iran isn’t over, but on April 26, Trump mentioned that he is under no pressure to reach a deal, but this selfishness affects all of us, including high-stakes brinkmanship, global strain and other things that are costly for America.
Delta student Angeliah Vargas offers an indicator of what would bring more peace to the world.
“I think the world needs more peace for it to be less violence so people can come together and work together as a community to create peace instead of making it more dangerous for people,” said Vargas
As we live every day of our lives, sometimes with regret, fear, or even anger, it’s best to remember that working together is better than staying isolated from one another. We all have to stay strong for this country to become better in the future, not just for us but for the generations after us.
